The light bulb smasher provides a safe work environment in addition to reducing man hours worked. The operation is simple and the equipment is inherently easy to operate. Simply turn on the unit, then feed the light bulbs into the tube which is located on the top of the smasher.

Light Bulb Smasher Features Below are some of the basic features of the crusher. There are two models, premium and standard which offer different features based on your application and budget. Control panel – Premium model Vertical tube for feeding fluorescent light bulbs into crusher Ability to accept straight tubes or U-Shaped light bulbs 55 gallon container drum which collects the crushed glass Filtration system which filters the dust and the mercury which is contained within the lights The Bulb Smasher Filtration System Both the premium and the standard crushers contain a dust filter system which is mounted to the unit (shown in blue in the above picture). This HEPA filtration system works in combination with a carbon activated filter which is in the canister. The carbon them captures the harmful mercury vapor which is released once the bulb is broke. The filtration system is one of the most critical components of the equipment. Without this feature, the vapor would simply be released into the atmosphere which is not ideal for the workers, the environment, or local and federal regulations.
